nice pool the place was cheap nice walk to down town YES I would stay there again because it was my price.
owners seamed nice enough but they make it no secret they live there lots of junk to look at I mean I like stuff too but no one likes to look at useless junk cheap cheap you get what you pay for cheap
shower pressure. nice upgrade to a king bed, but the queen would have probably been fine.
the bed didnt really fit in the room. the door was kinda broken. weird parking situation, dangerous.
The staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The location was perfect near the University of Arizona college and Downtown Tucson. The pool area was large and had a nice place to relax on the patio. Will stay again.
It was old but quaint loveed the retro feel very clean and the staff was awsome. Was able to park my trailer with out any hassel. I'm so glad to have stayed.
The outside coull have been cleaner and it would be so much more inviting. The pluming fixtures (handles) should be replaced they are old and hard to turn on and off.
The fact you can see outside through the side of the door even if door was locked it left feeling unsafe.
The owners/staff are really fantastic. They were just so helpful.
Yuck! Becareful No Refunds
After I was moved to a more recently refurbished room I was satisfied with the accomodations. The management was friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and you can't beat the price. Owners were more than helpful. Next time I'm in Tucson and need an inexpensive room, I'll stay there again.
The Copper Cactus was actually a really nice hotel. My friends and I were looking for something close to town (it would have been $6 w/ tax to take a taxi to 4th ave) yet a place where we wouldn't be bringing bugs home with us. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable. Not those hard uncomfortable hotel kinds. The room was very clean and the staff were very polite and kind. I will be using them again in the future.
The only complaint I can really come up with as that the place is not updated. But for the price I paid, I really don't care.
Outside is remodelled very nicely. Inside is very old but clean and very adequate. Having a fridge and microwave for the price was terrific! Service was good. It fit our budget.
Renovating and upgrading the doors to a "card-entry" system would seem more secure.
Neighborhood seem rough but didn't have a problem walking to 4th ave at night, comfortable bed, clean and staff was really nice
I wouldn't recommend it only because the neighborhood looks so rough but I would stay there because it a good price and great location
The fan blew directly on the bed. The bed was firm and comfortable. The room was clean.
It's in a less than desireable neighborhood. If I was a female traveling alone, I wouldn't stay there.
I was happy to see that it had a microwave and refridgerator and the out side appearance could be made to look really nice.
The outside needs some cleaning up. Take away the old chairs from the front doors. Throw the trash away on the far side. Add some newer plants possible in pots. Get some newer looking furniture. These things could make this a really nice place to stay.
The room was small but had mini fridge, clean shower, microwave, and tv. They offered us a wire for internet, but we couldn't figure out how to use it. This place was cheap, and just what we were looking for. I drove by some of the other motels I saw on Booked.net, that were around $60-70 I say save your money and stay at the copper cactus.
